My name is Merritt Slaughter. I am a creative director, licensed seamstress, and stylist! My bachelor’s degree is in public relations. I created SLAUGHTER MAGAZINE, an online digital magazine that highlights Black business and fashion/creativity. For me, fashion is more than a hobby; it’s an amazing platform for storytelling and expression. I have styled about 6 fashion shows and recently earned my seamstress certification, allowing me to begin dabbling in clothing construction.
